Eighties Kids cartoons

Wasn't there a kind of educational cartoon that used to be on early morning on C4 I think about little people living and working inside a man's body.

They used to fly around in little bubble ships and one of the people was an old man with a really long white beard who was the God like figure of the whole body and who lived in the brain.
Oh my god I'd completely forgotten about this! I used to watch it whenever it was on :)

Trap door and button moon were my favourites :)

Spookily himself said I looked like Vicki the Viking this morning in my hat. He'd not seen this thread and I'd not mentioned it at all so someone does remember it :D

"My wings are like a shield of steel!"

Batfink was my main man.

And Roger Ramjet was a pill-popping disco queen if ever there was one.

yes, i remember those- !
it's a french series, made in the late 70's or early 80's by Albert Barillé, and the original title on the first series is "Il était une fois...L'homme". :)

it was a trilogy actually, the first was about human history from neanderthals to modern times, the second was about the workings of the body and (i think) birth, the third was about space and the universe...
WOOOOOHOOOO! I've been trying to find out what that was for AAAAGES. Cheers! :D

Nobody has mention Willo the Wisp. It was great, a sarcastic caterpillar, an evil TV, and a befuddled fairy.

Not cartoons, but anyone remember:

-Woof! ?
-Josie Smith ?
and Punky Brewster ?

I can find no one who does. :( am i so weird?

I LOVED Punky Brewster. And you're probably the first person I've seen mention it. It's like it never happened.

Willo the Wisp was definitely the 80s. Although it could have been repeats I suppose...?
