When questioned in my cordon on the front line of the AFL by a young middle class white female with a ring through her nose and filming me on her I Phone "why are you here, why are you doing this" I just simply answered.
"look at them, look at you, if we wernt here they would rip you to peices, we are just here to make sure everyone gets to say what they believe in and go home in one peice"
She took one look over my shoulder at the group of EDL who by there appearance had obviously got a fair bit more of a physical presence and she said, "fair enough".......

Aside from that i can't understand what the EDL want. If there are Muslim's who are preaching religious hatred or inciting people to murder then there are laws that deal with them, the same laws that apply to Griffin and co.

Isn't this a contradiction? he says that are laws to deal with islamic extremism as there is to deal with Griffin and co, so there is no need for the EDL to protest. But he is an Anti-Fa whose wholefocus is confronting the far right on the streets, so its ok for him,etc,but not the EDL, strange,and no i am not condoning the EDL
