Mmmm, I like the fact that he is less 'shouty' than Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy, his style is far less about being loud and physical.

Trading places is a rarity, a Hollywood blockbuster with a thinking heart, obviously he #didn't write the fucker, but no one else could have hit it right like he did.
Beverly Hills Cop is fantastic eighties pop corn.
Even the Nutty Professor, although crass and childish, is pretty much a tour de force in characterization, I'm pretty sure Paddy Considine, or someone would be lost in trying to put on such raw entertainment.
Which brings us to Raw. Who said that's shit, and what the fuck's wrong with you.
Sure, he's done loads of garbage, but so have most of them, and in a thirty year career, there's no shame in that.
