Eating other people's leftovers

I'd eat a girlfriend's sandwich etc that she couldn't finish, but not a friend's. Dunno why I see the former as perfectly acceptible but the latter as a bit skanky.

I used to work in a pizza restaurant and would cut the bite markey bits of pizzas left over and eat the rest. I knew a waitress that would finish leftover desserts :D If I actually know you then your food is practically mine while you're still at it.

yeah I'm a right scummer. I'm more worried whether something's got milk powder in than whether it's been on the floor or half chomped :D

The thought of eating some leftovers revolts me but things like pizza and chips is fine...it's 'wet food' which grosses me out:hmm::D

Well, if you're swapping spit by kissing someone, then a gf's sandwich wouldn't be as skanky as finishing off a friend's sandwich

While I had your own thoughts in mind I recognise them to be irrational - there's an implicit suggestion that said gf is germfree - they're put on a pedestal - whereas they're likely no more or less germ free than the next person.

would you kiss and swap saliva with loads of randoms?

Ab-so-lu-tely!

;)

Its ok to eat leftovers but people who share lollipops or the same fucking piece of chewing gum are sickoclarts.

I used to love milk puddings and got through loads of semolina, rice pudding and tapioca at school. Didn't worry me whether anyone had started it or not.

Depends I guess
Hate food waste a lot
I am not bothered about chowing down on peoples leftovers
Some people might see this as 'icky' though so not usually strangers
When people eat chicken off the bone on public I tend not to get involved

i don't understand how people can be so squeemish about eating food with bite marks in it yet don't mind sucking cocks tbh

I'll eat Mrs Spy's leftovers and occasionally taste mates food if it's offered and I've no problems with people taking stuff from my plate if they ask.

What does drive me to fucking distraction is when arseholes just help themselves. I used to work with a git that would unhesitatingly stick his hand into your crisp packet or help himself to a couple of chips etc. He drove me fucking bananas so I decided to teach him a lesson.

One of our colleagues had recently returned from Jamaica with some seriously hot chilli sauce. This shit was so hot that it came in a small phial and was dispensed using a built-in 'eye-dropper'. Evil stuff.

I went to McDonalds and bought six chicken nuggets and carefully seperated the coating from the chicken of one of them. This left a neat little void which I completely filled with the aforementioned chilli sauce before closing over and leaving the spiked nugget prominently on the top of the others.

Matey boy came along, duly scoffed the special nugget and promptly started crying and making funny gurgling noises.

Ha ha you sound like my other half, in his world all food is potentially his to eat, it just doesnt know it yet :D he once tried to take something off my plate before i was done, i nearly tore his his head off. :D

Considering i live with a human dustbin or the remorseless eating machine as i like to call him and have a best mate who is exactly the same i dont consider it weird at all, I personally dont eat in that way but have no problem with others eating like that.

Do you?

I ordered a portion of nachos in a pub once and I left about 1/3 of them (it was quite a big portion) and one of my friends asked me if I minded if he finished them off, so I said no. The thing is, although I didn't mind him having them, the thought of it made me feel quite sick. I can't stand eating food that other people have left, although if the food has just arrived and it's hot I don't mind taking a chip or whatever.

Am I weird or do other people feel this way?

you're weird.

Yes your weird IMO

I used to eat leftovers off customers plates once I'd cleared them into the kitchen when I worked in a pub.

Bet you're puking now Geri :D

I've also done this. It was torture turning up for work when I'd not had enough time to eat some food beforehand.

I also downed 3 quarters of a bottle of leftover white wine once. Fucking WHITE wine. Grim.

So it's ok to eat the food at the same time, but not afterwards?

Yeah, it's not to do with sharing germs or anything - I am bothered about that, it's more to do with the fact that it's been messed about with and might be cold or gross.

I can't explain it.

I don't think you would have enjoyed being there the time that a coworker of mine picked up an old beer bottle from under a bush, and drained the contents into his mouth.
