When we played Tilbury a few seasons ago, in a pre-season game, I deliberately took that route, as I'd never been on that crossing. Added bonus was that the English Heritage maintained Tilbury Fort is close to where it docks on the other side. That was the only real bonus of playing Tilbury though, as that town really is 'the land that time forgot'. Strange place, to say the least...Is it near Tilbury? You can get the ferry there from Gravesend.
Wow! Not just a groundhoper but a ferryhopper too! When we played Tilbury a few seasons ago, in a pre-season game, I deliberately took that route, as I'd never been on that crossing.

Bastard train is cancelledYep, I'll be on the 12.03 from West Ham

Travelhopper?Nah, just a different way of travelling. But i have been on the Woolwich Ferry too...
In fact, once, when crossing from that side to Woolwich, I was reading a paper, and missed Woolwich, went back, and then missed Woolwich again...! Bloody Sunday mornings...!![]()
Not at all. I've got flu. And that's proper in-bed-for-three-days-and-can-hardly-walk-or-eat flu, and not a bad cold.Oh dear, getting to that age where the hangovers kick in?![]()
