Oh, it's my birthday on 27th so a few tipples in order in honour of that too....
When we played Tilbury a few seasons ago, in a pre-season game, I deliberately took that route, as I'd never been on that crossing. Added bonus was that the English Heritage maintained Tilbury Fort is close to where it docks on the other side. That was the only real bonus of playing Tilbury though, as that town really is 'the land that time forgot'. Strange place, to say the least...

Nah, just a different way of travelling. But i have been on the Woolwich Ferry too...
In fact, once, when crossing from that side to Woolwich, I was reading a paper, and missed Woolwich, went back, and then missed Woolwich again...! Bloody Sunday mornings...!
