D'you ever stay sober at gigs?

i'm not convinced i've ever got pissed at a gig

In larger gigs I usually stay pretty sober, mainly because the bar is too packed and it takes ages to buy a drink, and the gigs are usually after work so I've no time to drink beforehand...

Smaller gigs, all day gigs (in parks): yes, generally a bit drunk, but in a very lady like manner!

I try to stay sober, but it occasionally goes spectacularly wrong; there's a couple of gigs I can remember getting into but not actually being at, which is a bit of a waste of time really...
Will sometimes have a cheeky smoke (depending on how naughty I/friends feel), but I'm not sure if that's within the remit of the poll...

happily tipsy is the best way imo!
the lemonheads were super cool last night & i was happily tipsy!
i think too drunk just ruins it... you want to take in and enjoy the band.
and that.
but totally sober wouldn't be as fun.
it never is!

I normally have to drive, so yes. However, I've already designated another driver for when I go to see Killing Joke in October, so I will be absolutely spannered. For old time's sake, like.

i usually have a few at the gig and then go out and get hammered afterwards - they always whack the prices up for gigs so its not the priority to get drunk there.

I usually have one or two drinks, but I'm not a big fan of getting drunk, be it at gigs or elsewhere.

I don't tend to get trashed at gigs, after them yes, but I reckon a few pints is reet for a gig. Depends on the gig very much though.
