booze is definitely a big part of it. At Champion Hill we would have been drinking well before the game in local pubs / club .... now that pre-match drinking time most are spending traveling to the ground. So takes us until second half to reach the perfect drink / singing levels!!

Always an issue with singing at cup games due booze ban (well sort of ban)

So who's having drumming lessons? Just Don't forget Allez is my song ;)

Really? And what time, someone please remind me, do pubs open nowadays?
Back in the day we'd have a few tins on the trains then be at an away game for opening time...

But these aren't away games. It's one thing to have a big day out with an early start for an attractive away game. I would imagine many people have other things to do on the morning of a home game, and some people who might have had time for a pre-match pint or two at Dulwich are having to waste that time travelling to Mitcham.

Just watching the highlights, we could have had a penalty on another day in the goal mouth scramble when May was floored.
