Probably close to capacity 3000. There is a Weatherspoon's The Fox on The Hill. Come out of Denmark Hill station do a right then left at the lights up the hill and the pub is on the crest. It's downhill afterwards all the way to the ground. Get to the club bar early instead and the beer is just as cheap and good.

Wetherspoons is where the red arrow is and the little pink arrows are the short cut to the ground which is a ten minute walk.

Total tickets sales just shy of 2500 so if you want to go to this game get yourself to the ground! Open til 9pm this evening then from 1.30 til 9pm tmrw evening.

Remember this an all ticket game, there is no pay at the turnstile on the day!

Just reading a post on our forum, which lead me to believe it may be possible to nip out at half time to sainsburys to purchase a few cans. Which lead me to further speculate that it's permissable to bring your own drinks into the ground. have I got this right? Personally, I'd rather go to your bar so the money goes to your club rather than sainsburys, but then I can just picture a couple of thousand fans queuing up 5 mins from half time At the clubhouse. Will you be setting up a temporary bar anywhere in the ground to cope with the thirsty hordes! Or is it just the clubhouse. All and any advice on this issue will be most welcome. Cheers, john.

I'm sure it's not technically allowed, but if you are well behaved (and at least a little bit subtle about it) it seems to be tolerated.

I always buy drinks from the bar, but I think Saturday might be a can day if we've got 2,500 coming! I'll make sure to pay the difference to the 12th man fund!

If you get there in reasonable time you should be able to get drinks at the bar before the game easily enough. Close to kick off and during the game it will take ages though - I usually try and get drinks from the bar but I'll have cans on Saturday.

We are on dodgy territory with the licensing committee due to the last waste of space regime let the club house have all night parties etc. But hopefully that has been smoothed over and next season there will be provision to sell beer outside. For this game however, we will have to use the club bar which is likely to be a nightmare (and usualy is with crowds over 1,000). As long as you are discreet cans would be the way forward and if you want to give a few quid to the club, drop it in the 12th man scheme on the right as you come through the main turnstyles.

Looking forward to seeing you Maidstone people.

Also, if you do take cans then please tidy up afterwards and put them in the bin or nominate one of your own to be the black bag man like our fans do.

Worth saying that the clubhouse sell the excellent FourPure ales in cans which they will give you unopened. We usually get a pint in early when there's no bar queue and a few cans for during the game. That way the club bar doesn't lose out and we don't have to queue.

Although having said that I like the idea of people buying from Sainsbury's and donating the price difference to the 12th Man - that way money still goes to the club but the queues don't build up!

I was going to post this as "me" but this makes just as much sense.

    **CALLING ALL DULWICH FANS**

This has been discussed before (and met with some derision) but due to the huge crowd expected on Saturday, the huge stakes of the game for both teams, and a conversation I had with Sean Dooley yesterday...

Can all those who sing, shout, bellow, scream, bang things with sticks, play any kind of instrument etc etc etc meet behind the goal at the Greendale End from 14.30 to begin making a helluva lot of noise?

Given the crowd is going to be so big, there is a huge likelihood that those who do sing etc will be dispersed and the noise will be diluted. After speaking to so many players this season for the podcast, the one thing that keeps being mentioned is the huge lift our singing gives the players - through thick and thin.

Therefore, to ensure we are as loud as always (hopefully louder), this suggestion seems to make sense. We all know the Maidstone fans are a good lot and will give us a run for our money so let's make sure we're in a position to make the most of our numbers.

As mentioned, previously attempting to choreograph this kind of thing has been immediately shot down. On this occasion, I hope those who aren't in favour of the idea can see its benefits and will get involved.

Hopefully see you all down the Greendale end from 14.30 onwards.

    Forward The Hamlet.

I think we need a comprehensive list on what kills/does not kill the atmosphere so we can ban/encourage people. We could also set up some safe space type bollocks around various parts of the ground and have endless discussion on all the minute detail.

Or we could just get on with whatever the fuck we want to and not moan at others for doing whatever the fuck they want to and have some massive fucking fun

   ;)
