There was some discussion after Wealdstone whether that person was a Hamlet fan or not.should that be on here ? Are you sure it wasnt palace fans..........

Dulwich v Fulham, 1987
OK fair enough. Personally I'll probably stick to the bottled Pride though. (Ideally we'd have the Kinsale on handpump instead of the Spitfake. And regardless of what's on handpump it would be a good idea to move them closer to the cellar, thereby shortening the beerlines, if practical.)Personally, I think Kinsale is the weakest one of the lot, because as you say, it's bog standard bitter and similar to what is on offer in bottles (Doom bar and London Pride) and to the pasteurised Spitfire on the handpumps.
Sir Thomas Gardyner flew at the MND charity night. I agree that it might be a bit weird for those who want a bog standard bitter, but that's the point. There is plenty of other options for this! We could perhaps rotate between his offerings to start with and see what sells best. Stephen doesn't want to get more than one barrel per game to start with, unless it starts selling out actually during the first half.
I think the Fulham player taking the corner may be Clive Walker, the old Chelsea forward. We played a number of pre-seasons agaisnt Fulham in the 80's & 90's, they usually sent something close to a proper first XI, and they didn't often beat us. I'll have to see if I can dig out the programme for this one, althugh I may not ahve been there. This would have been the start of the 87/88 season, when our manager Mick Leach walked out quite late in the summer taking all "his" players and youth team manager Ray Thorn took over with a team cobbled together from mostly young untried players, leading to a disastrous start to the season losing all our first seven league & cup games. (We eventually stayed up on the last day of the season after Eddie Presland had returned for a second spell as manager in December.)In the meantime, skimming tumblr (shut it)
