I've no idea what that opening post means. However, I can tell you a little about Chippenham, which is a large historic market town in northwest Wiltshire, lying 20 miles east of Bristol, 86 miles west of London and 4 miles west of The Cotswolds. The town was established on a crossing of the River Avon and some form of settlement is believed to have existed there since before Roman times. It has a Grade II listed railway station, with one platform out of use, although this may be reinstated if the proposed Corsham reopening takes place.

Notable Chippies include Alfred The Great, Robert Peel and Henry Fox Talbot. The team play in blue (home) amnd green (away) and have same nickname as the mighty Cardiff City.

This has been a public service announcemen.

Sounds like we can expect to see Green Parakeets rather than Bluebirds tomorrow.

Chippenham and Copenhagen mean the same thing. Don’t @ me.

My ex-flatmate once played pool against Judie Tzuke in the bar of Golddiggers, Chippenham. She won but he got a snog as a consolation. Hope that helps.

I had a life size poster of Judie Tzuke on the sloping ceiling of my loft bedroom when I was a teenager.

Chambers and Green both booked inside 4 minutes for fouls. Can't argue with either card.

Hamlet going for the world record for the fastest booking, notching up booking #1 in around 2 seconds.

Our second booking was preceded by some professional European style ground writhing and spinning by their player.

The first half was one to forget, but we looked strong for long periods of the second half. Great result!

Nine of the eleven teams we've played are currently in the top half of the table. The bottom five all lost today which puts us eight points clear of danger, but now we're at full strength regarding injuries I think we're seeing what the squad is capable of.

First clean sheet of the season today, and first team to keep a clean sheet against Chippenham.

Great result but Chippenham were stunningly average. Bodes well for us for a decent season. Just need more of the play-off glory hunters to put their Cherry Tree pints down and actually turn up for games now.

And 8pts in the other direction would put us 3rd!

We looked a different class to Chippenham in the second half today. I'm not sure what happened at halftime, but it worked.

Really good game. Muscular, dogged, and pretty ruthless. It’s what you need in this league. The second goal was perfect.

Well that was better. Gav and Kad were driving that victory on today. A excellent blend of bollocking and praise kept the players focused and they looked like a real team in that 2nd half. Still a few too many lapses at the back that on another day would have been punished. But overall a real solid performance, thought Dipo was top notch today, strong and was real handful! On and upwards!

gnar182 i am an okay person

Great win. first half was absolute shite though.

We looked like a different team in the second half, Dipo is a god.

Anyone know what dirt Gavin Tomlin has on the management team that allows his frequent selection....
