It's going to be at Champion Hill so we won't be trying out all those lovely boozers in Brentford.

What a load of rubbish. Should have made them play it a Griffin Park.

Thought the same but then read the post and have to say thanks to Brentford for donating all the gate receipts.

Blimey! You actually read the post? That’s a novel idea. I’m glad you did though as I’d missed that. Thanks indeed to Brentford.

On the other side of the draw Orient are at Welling tonight in the QF, whilst Clapton entertain Harrow.

The Os put out a mixture of first XI subs and fringe squad players plus some youths last time out, and I’m expecting the same today.

Edit: ignore me - our game’s next week. Only just realised when I went to check result. Good job I didn’t just rock up...

Pity about the pub crawl but great gesture from Brentford!

Perhaps we should set up a keg and / or a can bar at every corner of Champion Hill? Make them feel at home and all that. It would be a nice gesture I feel. And purely selfless of course.

Perhaps the London FA could arrange the final for Griffin Park? Either way that would surely guarantee a good attendance from the winners of our semi-final.

Rumours are the final could be at Champion Hill.

Cyclodunc Where's the slam tent, mate?

Pub crawl during the day before heading back to champion hill in the evening. Easy.

Surely it has to be at a neutral venue?

It doesn’t. Which is why losing to Cray Valley Paper Mills in the semi two years ago was even more dispiriting as the final was played at Champion Hill.

We’ve played home and away at Champion Hill this season. What could be more neutral than that?!

Given the season so far I suppose it wouldn't be much of an advantage to be at home anyway. It just lacks 'the magic of the Cup' if it's not played at somewhere neutral.

Can I interest anybody in the mildly surreal experience of Brentford B vs Slavia Prague, live on youtube?

Currently a single camera zoomed in on where a sprinkler had been going off, but has now stopped. I'm sure Gavin and Junior will be taking notes.

I'm glad it's not Slavia Prague we're playing!

Trust me if we were ever drawn away to Slavia Praha in anything there’d be genuine uproar at it bring switched to Champion Hill... never mind just missing out on a little pub crawl round Brentford...

The other two quarter finals were played last night....

    Clapton 0, Harrow Borough 7

Welling United 2, Leyton Orient 1.

Harrow Borough are at home in the semi final.
