I did indeed.
Open Meeting at the ground - Monday 13 May 7.30pm
There probably won’t be 2100 at the match though. It still helps as the food, drink, programme, merch, etc will contribute further.
Surely if the club has not budgeted for income from FA Cup or other KO competition prize money then it would not have included the match day revenue from any games in those competitions for at the time the budget was set in place the venue for any ties would be unknown. Therefore all matchday income less expenditure would be a bonus for the club’s coffers.
Exactly, a bonus on top if the 2,100 League average is achieved, or a mitigating bonus if it isn't.
Will season tickets be valid for this game?
Season tickets are only valid for league matches. They are never valid for any cup matches.
Bognor currently 2-0 down at home to Cheshunt, both goals scored by... Dipo Akinyemi
Just seen the line up: is Ambroisine injured or are they trying to force him out with Case?
Ambroisine. Good player.
Yusuff recalled from his loan?
It must have expired, it was only for one month, Dipo's is for 2 months.
Nyren makes it 2-0 after 8 minutes. #smashing
Is there any website with live updates?
Seems to be being updated on Football Web Pages
Dulwich 3 Bognor 0 Danny Mills with an unbelievable header
3-1 dubious penalty for Bognor. Then Nyren had his legs hooked from under him and the ref waved play on!
4-1 Danny Mills again #smashtastic. Ah the magic of the cup.
5-1 Ade Yusuff with his first for the Hamlet
6-1 Nyren #smashed it
Woohoo. Bashed the Bognor.
Was I hallucinating or did we wind up at the end playing 4-4-2 with Yussuf alongside Mills up front?
We did. Against a horrendously naive and poor team. 4-4-2 isn't something to get excited about.
Seriously, lovely to get six today but it was against an incredibly poor team. Just to be a Debbie Downer, they had way too many shots on goal after half time.
It was more the the proximity of the strikers I was getting into. I’m no fan of 4-4-2 in itself. An isolated lone striker isn’t much to get excited about either as far as I’m concerned, no matter how good he is.
I was just happy to see the best crosser of a ball (by a country mile) on the pitch from the start. Good times.
Is Danny Mills the best at heading goals we have ever had?
The players were talking about how they would have liked to have played Leatherhead in the next round. But of course they are not in it
Highlights for me have to be:
1. Quade Taylor scoring with his boot after 2 minutes. I genuinely thought he was going to playing attacking midfield after the goal...
2. Yussuf being held (man hugged) just inside his own half whilst looking to break, the ball being played down the right and a lighting quick counter from Jeffrey, only for Yussuf to appear up the other end in seconds to stroke home...
Ade Yussuf is the Flash!
OK it was a bit of a diversion from the bread and butter stuff but a very enjoyable game. Good to see the goals shared around and to see Yussuf make his mark. Bognor did keep plugging away and AMB needed to save our bacon a couple of times but the result was almost never in doubt. And £6k isn't it?
£6750 for winning today. Third round qualifier losers get £3750 so that's effectively banked too.
