Thought no pyro's allowed
Trebuchets only. We’re a (medieval) family club.
Is it ok if I bring my christmas rum back via the game? Even I cant drink 3 bottles before the game.
Vivid recollection of hearing this live on the radio: The parachuting Santa who lost a leg in Villa Park parachute crash
An essential part of ' THE MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE' a thoroughly rummed up B.I.G
I am so happy to be not looking up train times right now.
Same starting XI as Boxing Day while Tomlin replaces Taylor on the bench.
Another massive crowd today!
Can't be far short of 3,000 again.
Certainly feels close to a sell out again. Fantastic support.
Tight game though but we've had some chances.
0-1 after some sloppy midfield nonsense.
Going to pretend we drew that 0-0.
Truly impressive crowd 2,900 +
Real shame we squandered the chances we had and kept hoofing the ball up the park
Didn't feel we deserved to lose
not a good look for another big crowd
oh well sure Gavin will make changes
Thanks again to all the volunteers who made another great day pleasurable and hopefully financially profitable
all the best for Eastbourne
A close contest overall, but whereas we stepped up a gear after a cagey first half to deservedly beat Eastbourne this time we fell away after edging an entertaining first half and wasting some good chances. Having scored a rare headed goal on Boxing Day, Clunis twice failed to convert with his head when a stronger header of the ball would probably have tucked away at least one.
Slough scored the only goal with nearly half an hour to go, then sat deep and slowed everything down to see out the game, although we almost hit back right at the end when a slick move consisting of Tomlin releasing Clunis to supply a terrific cross from the byline led to successive shots blocked in the goalmouth by a determined defence.
Kargbo and Baby Kargbo were both in the bar, Jules P, so I assume Papa Kargs is still with us.
I lost my headphones. Christian has tweeted out on my behalf in anyone can retweet please.
Is there any reason to think Kargbo wasn't still with us? He's officially aged 36 and some have suggested he's had "A touch of the Roger Millas" with his birth certificate, but I think he's well worth a place for what he brings to the table. (Even though I'll be 53 next month and I reckon he looks about the same age as me!)
Oh dear. I hope this loss of headphones scenario wasn't triggered by consuming those three bottles of rum?
(How do you lose headphones unless you lose your head?)
Fell out my pocket I think due to christmas gloves.
My mum bought me gloves for christmas. Took up valuable headphone space in pocket.
is the saddest post on urban ive ever read. crowd fund some new head phones for 'B.I.G.
No, it was just queried on the other thread. I hadn't heard he'd been binned either.
Dulwich Hamlet fail to take their chances and lose to Slough in front of another huge crowd, Sat 29th Dec 2018
Time for me to mention the 51” LG widescreen I left behind the goal.
Their goal was well taken .
Yes it was. It's a shame Chambers got mugged like that, they still had a lot of work to do after winning possession.
Chambers made one mistake in each of the last two games: got turned just inside his own half against Eastbourne and collected a yellow card for fouling his man; then that moment against Slough. Other than that I thought he was the best player on the pitch in both matches.
I think he's close to being better than Ethan Pinnock in that number 6 position; Chambers the better ball player but Pinnock the better athlete and a bit more fleet of foot.
