Cool, hope it is the Charlton first team, normally u23's or similar. A big crowd could help the pre-season coffers

It is their first team. It's a contractual agreement for a player that went there. Should be a firm test.

    No game against Millwall ?

I see they are playing Dartford and Welling

We don't have a ground (of our own) to play them at right now. If they were willing to send a team to play at the KiNKy Stadium I would imagine our hosts would want the fixture.

Frankly we've done well to get the fixtures announced so far. Bromley away on Saturday 21st July was also announced on the club website yesterday.

Away to Bromley is great as close to me and I'm friends with their keeper. Also Bromley giving us half the gate receipts too! Top chaps!

was this the one that played at wembley for them
I thought he looked good and had a good day, only beaten seconds from the end by a og
Thought he was going to win it for them with his penalty save

Yep David Gregeory (Greggers) came through the Palace Academy.
Fantastic attitude, hard worker and very good keeper, I expect he will play at a higher level too soon.

Millwall play those teams because that is where a lot of their fan base now resides

So much for their statement of "support" for us back in March, then. If they genuinely wanted to help, a friendly would have been an obvious way of doing so. Empty words.

Unless it was a proper first team I don't think it would have been a big money spinner and, as I've already said, we must be fairly limited as to how many pre-season matches we can have at Tooting and on which dates.

I think the "two vanarama sides" on the Hamlet page refer to Bromley and Maidstone.
