Dulwich Mishi Old Skool Terrace Dinosaur-embracing the new-veau!

These are due to be released by the National League, via the clubs, at 1.00pm today.

I thought I'd put this here in anticipation, just in case (almost certain!) that more than one person would be posting on here at the same time & we'd end up with a 'double thread'...

It's been suggested that the DHFCW's game against Eastbourne Town is likely to be played on the Sunday after our August away day to Eastbourne Borough...

    Weekender anyone?

Excellent stuff for me, hardly any clashed with my 'other' season ticket and that's before TV gets their grubby hands on the PL games

I like the optimism of keeping the FA Cup final date on our fixture list. :D

Doesn't really matter who we got for the festive fixtures with no genuine derby, so home on Boxing Day is good.

Weymouth away in bloody January is typical. (Our last three league trips to Margate were all in January too.)

A spectacularly dull climax to the away fixtures with trips to Slough on Easter Monday and Concord on the final day.

Dorking away in August should be a nice local-ish day out.

Hemel away on a Tuesday night is a great excuse not to go to Hemel again.

But you've got a direct train service from Streatham Common!

Still takes twice as long to get to the ground from Hemel station.

I'm not sure I'd go if I had my own helicopter that could land in the centre circle.

Busy start to the season! Tonbridge, Eastbourne & Dorking away in August so 3 new grounds for me. So I think I may miss out on Hemel as a 2 hour bus journey home at 9.30pm doesn't appeal.

i think the trick is to get a train to st albans , then a bus to hemels ground . or as you say , don't bother .

Just a quick early heads up for the opening day at Tonbridge. The normal fast direct service from London Bridge to Tonbridge, non-stop to Orpington, isn't running. (Those trains are starting from Victoria instead.)

    Son of Roy Really?

McKimm must be looking forward to the opening game as he usually rests all of his best players so they are strong for the Dulwich game. Then they lose the next three games against bottom of the table teams.

Allowing for a Dulwich team with new players that will not have had many games to gel, my prediction is, if we are not good enough to beat Tonbridge by 2 goals in the opening game we will not make the playoffs.

They certainly had a period of complete free fall after we beat them last season. Steady what you say here though. As we know, somebody reports back to Mr McK about what is said about him on this board.

Think it's two different things. McKimm took exception to me laughing at a comedy piece of defending during the game. We discussed it afterwards and it was fine. Think Dunc is talking about an old Tonbridge fella in the stand who was up for a rumble and it seemed to go on for days.

The same chap who was trying to scrap with all and sundry in the car park after the game? Was a good look for him.

I'd wager it's why most of us are Dulwich fans

Ive not felt as strong a bond to the club as when Truro got their second goal at Champion Hill back in March

I’m actually a Dulwich Hamlet fan because I grew up in Leconfield House behind the ground( or behind Sainsbury’s nowadays...)

I generally feel a stronger bond when it's the opposition doing it. Like Billericay's own goal from the last kick of the match when they'd been timewasting since before half-time.

I would guess I appear grumpy because I’ve spent so much time next to people like Pink Panther on various terraces all over the south east...
