It's usually the week before the Isthmian League fixtures, so early July.

It was the 5 July last year and the 6 July in 2016, so around then which gives you a month to plan for the first couple of games!

Anyone know if the date of first weekend has been confirmed?

National League has not bothered to reply to my basic tweet on this.

The Isthmian League starts on August 11th. The National normally starts a week earlier so I have provisionally pencilled in the 4th August. But I am not certain by any means.

I'm looking forward to Welling, simply because I can get the bus there from my house.

And I quite like 'em anyway. Have had some fun times there over the years.

London's first micropub is almost opposite the ground. (Could even set up a little matchday micropub crawl to Welling if you like - a version of this - A Micropub Crawl Of South East London - though I'll be getting the bus from my house, natch.)

This is the micropub where mobile phones are banned right? Caused much upset when we played them in a friendly at the height of the popularity of
    Pokémon Go iirc

Yup, the one with the smashed Nokia on the wall as a warning.

A Hamlet fan also walked in, smartphone in hand, and in a loud voice asked, hilariously, "what's the WiFi password?"

I might post that anecdote on a National League South Banter Page on Facebook to help us make some friends ahead of the new season.

You need to embellish it for added BanTz impact.

How about, "A gay Hamlet fan walked in with an entire desktop computer - keyboard, monitor, the lot - and demanded both a wi-fi password and a power socket to go with the treble frappucino with lark's milk he tried to order."

There isn't enough Dulwich related news out of the season but this was in the paper yesterday. It might amuse some of you. Others not so much. Wasn't sure if it deserves it's own thread.

What? Jason Prior leaves Havant & Waterlooville and joins Dorking Wanderers? (Nothing to do with the Conference South soz).

To think Dulwich will be a division above Bognor, Margate and Whitehawk next season. All teams that won promotion at our expense in the past. Remember Whitehawk were the Billericay of the Ryman Premier a few years ago? And we will be two divisions above Tooting. Feeling dizzy.

I'm really looking forward to Wealdstone and The Raider Derby , the word juxtaposition springs to mind

NA. Wealdstone and Dulwich love each other, because unlike the children they normally face, we don't give them any trouble.

But there’s only one Raider worthy of the name and he ain’t from Wealdstone.

I was thinking of the juxtaposition of Raiders more than the fans

Both like a drink. Both worked in media. Both no longer work.

What difference are you thinking of?
