Dulwich Hamlet F.A. Cup 2016-17

Question being is how would they know whether you're made use of one portion before the other?
I've since seen a regulation stating that the outward portion of your ticket is only valid when accompanied by the unused return portion. Bah!

For those getting the 600 bus from Chichester, looks like the closest stop to the ground is The Lamb Inn, Nyetimber. Couple of minutes from the ground. Alternatively, the stop before is The Bear Inn (pleasing theme to these bus stop names) and is a slightly longer walk. There's a third pub, The Lion, near the ground as well. First two look quite gastro with The Lion seeming to be more traditional.
I'm boring myself now to be honest.
All those pubs serve real ales. The Inglenook, which I would imagine the bus passes shortly before reaching the ground, is the local CAMRA branch pub of the year. Looks quite posh: Welcome to the Inglenook Hotel

Which is why we didn't do it...but other clubs have done in the past.
I'm sure someone did it to us years ago, but surprisingly I can't remember who. I must be losing it if I can't remember to hold grudges any more.

Well more often than not the Blakey gates seem to open whenever we arrive at Bognor so problem solved. Anyway hands up anyone who ever been asked to flash their unused portion to the conductor?

As its not been mentioned.......for the first time this season we didnt go 1-0 down and had the cheek to win 3 zero! :) Tomlin 2 and Weatherstone the scorers of said goals!

Got to say Pagham were excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming all day even brought out biscuits & sarnies into the bar at halftime. Four excellent pubs within a stone's throw of the ground too. Apparently they had as many as seven first team regulars missing through injury or cup tied. That said most of the key scorers seemed to be involved for a Pagham side scoring goals for fun this season. Will now be hoping a steady rise for them, sort of place love to be visiting on a league basis in the not-too-distant future

Any news on my altona hat? :(

Also - fair to assume that the reorganised Lowestoft away game will be midweek? That'll be a tricky journey...

Yes, unless possibly if we lose to Hendon and both Lowestoft and ourselves have a Saturday with no league game due to both our opponents being involved in the FA Cup. (Lowestoft surprisingly lost at home to Histon on Saturday, who are a division lower and near the bottom.)

On subsequent FA Cup dates we're due to be away to Staines (who are still in) on 1 October, then away to Leatherhead (who lost on Saturday) on 15 October.
