Dulwich Hamlet away to Wingate & Finchley 28/3/2015 1pm kick off

Haven't heard anything along the lines of 'shit ground, no fans' etc myself but there you go.

.

Recently I have heard snippets of chants you would expect at Premier League grounds, including a "your support is fucking shit" from a random guy at last weeks game against East Thurrock. Nobody else joined in because we arent like that, and in a way I am glad. There are times where we have a bit of fun with the keeper and such (Good old Bobby this Saturday!) but there is no actual intent from it, half the time the keeper giggles with us! The times where Ive heard chants of offence or deliberate slating of the opposition club, theyre from people who rarely turn up to our games, but the Rabble always remind them about our love to all other non league clubs (besides T**ting of course)

Did anyone take this flag home after the game? Think it was given to us by the community day. It should stay on tour.

There is still a Kick It Out one from the Hampton & Richmond Borough game, which was 'claimed' by the fans, and supposed to be taken to all the away games, but that never happened, so best this one stays at home.

Think Mishi summed it up pretty well near the end for today's performance, unsure what exactly happened. Tank didn't perform all game, at times he was extremely frustrating. We didn't really attack, we seem to just pass around the 18 yard box.

Wingate performed well, though. Weren't fantastic, but capitalised on our obvious faults.
Confidence is the issue for me, and lack of on-field leadership. Kevin James must be on the field for as much time as possible, and from the start right now if fit enough. He seemed to galvanise us on Saturday when we were in danger of completely caving in, but it was too late to make a difference.

Drage is a good addition based on his performances against us for K's & Hampton, and he's comfortably on the ball and fairly mobile for a big lad, which suits us well. It's a bit much to expect leadership qualities from him immediately, and I think he's still fairly young (23 or 24) but he's always been very vocal when playing against us, which is a quality we're maybe short of right now.

The Tank is not really suited to our game, other than as a squad player providing a tactical option, and at Wingate his gun seemed to have no ammunition. Wanadio is dangerous at his best but lacks guile; unlike Jarrett for instance, who really knows how to unlock a tight defence and would be a major asset for a team going flat out for the title right now. Too many players simply seem to be having a poor run of form at the same time. A jammy win somewhere could make a hell of a difference. I think four of the last five goals we've conceded have gone in off the goal frame, and the other was a penalty, so whilst not wishing to 'paper over the cracks', we've perhaps missed out on getting the bits of luck that could contribute towards helping to turn things around. (Saturday's first goal wouldn't have gone anywhere near the net in anything resembling standard wind conditions, although the lack of serious attempts on goal from a relatively large proportion of possession and territory remains a big worry.)

I think you're being kind to Joe Benjamin. I though he was terrible on Saturday and that wrong foot shot early on in the match was embarrassingly bad and with 21 goals in 198 games (wikipedia) since 2008 he really doesn't appear to be the answer to the current goal scoring drought.

I thought he was pretty good last week to be fair. He really didn't do anything on Saturday though and I agree his scoring record (plus his short time with us) really doesn't suggest he's about to start scoring loads of goals.

This is very true indeed. At the time it looked like it was set to go 5 yards wide from my view at the side. Having looked at it again on Football Exclusives it looks like a piece of Ronnie Whelan/Norman Whiteside-esque genius. But it wasn't, it was the bloody wind.

This is also my excuse for the worst corner I've ever taken during the first half of the supporter's match. That said my corner in the second half wasn't much better either but did at least stay in the field of play! I'll never shake my head at Ashley Carew again for not clearing the first man from a corner...

We had a good view and I swear if he hadn't hit it so hard the wind would have blown it away from the goal, it sort of hung in the air like a golf shot .

It had that Bubba Watson travellers effect really, every time I saw the ball go around 15 feet in the air it travelled much further than it should of. Obviously a goals a goal and we shouldn't of conceded, but the wind played it's factors in both goals and decisions. We should of all taken a kite really for behind the nets.

Was going to hang around to congratulate you on your second half corner (and all-round midfield generalness) but I'd drunk the bar out of gin and, well, I wanted to go to the pub.
