Dulwich Hamlet 0 - 0 Norwich City, pre-season friendly, Tue 12th July, 19:45

I know it's not the answer you want but hold fire on that as there are a few changes happening so I will try to find out the right person.

Liam happy to hold fire to see if things improve as long as you like.

Just hoping we take as much money as possible from the bar so we can break even and/or sign more players.

I don't think I've bought a drink at the ground since about November. :( Maybe a couple at midweek games.

Question/thought on this: Is it possible for one of the stalls (franchisees, I guess?) to get a booze license and sell there directly? Can they get an event license and do it that way? That way it's not about the club applying for one and would be a good way to expand the range, and the club could charge more for boozestalls?

The ground has problems with the licence from the misdemeanours of previous owners and they have been working with Southwark to get it changed. A person's individual licence wouldn't change that as the licence for the stadium will override it. It is a problem that I am told is being addressed and comes up at every meeting that I attend.

Sorry but I can't let this go. Reading have never finished bottom of the Premier League, let alone miles bottom!
Sorry, I stand corrected. Miles adrift of safety, but QPR were even worse!

Just seen Editors photo of the KFH logo on the strips on another thread, reminded me that one annoyance from last night is that we are going to have another season of getting the ref mixed up with the players , potentially at a crucial point.

Would it be possible to provide the ref with an orange top or similar to avoid strip clash? Really frustrating when one of our players passes to the ref, happened at least once last night.
NO. Referees wear black. If we're stupid enough to pick a kit that clashes with that it's our own fault. As a short term measure, I feel we should use pink shorts and/or stockings with the navy shirts.

The food from the curry/noodle place was sensational. And they were actually selling food before the match, which was a bonus. The bratwurst place never seemed to be ready to actually sell anything until almost half-time.
On the few occasions I arrived straight from somewhere else in need of a tasty snack it was a real annoyance that the bratwurst place was never ready to start serving until around kickoff time, meaning I had to hang around until nearly kick off instead of being able to sit in the stand and finish my food before kick off. Ultimately their loss, as in the end In the end I just gave up and bought something from Sainsbury's to take into the ground with me. And then they were always flogging off loads of unsold stuff at half price after the final whistle.

Great to get one at a knock down price near the end though, if they started serving earlier there wouldn't be any left by then.

Cheers, that's really helpful. Thought that might be the case, was just wondering.

Noodle guys were great. I got a huge box of rice and chicken for £3 post FT. And they got right into the game. Def get them back.

The bar... I mean.. come on... I thought this was meant to be fixed by the end of last season? I'm gonna start chucking crates over the fence at this rate and selling them myself (All money raised to the 12th man).

P.S - Game was alright wasn't it? for a 0-0?

I hope the noodle guys realise the players tend to use the stall placed there as target practice during the warm up, boiling water and all the you know.

No different to last season with the hot dog stand....sorry, 'pop up', as we should call it! ;)
