That white one looks like the type they bred at Cherry Valley for the table.

Bloody hell, 4 votes in the first minute - don't any of you lot realise the pubs are open?

I like the vertical ones

but then I've always been attracted to the slightly unusual

not sure Shirl would agree ;)

Horizontal duckin censored by unknown bird-hating bod?

Since all I've got for the horizontal one is a red x, I feel there is an unfair disadvantage favouring the vertical duck.

However, each duck type has its own charm.

Another forbidden link! It is the curse of the duck!

<cuts and pastes URL so it appears in cache>

<explodes>

It is OK - I have now seen the all-destroying cuteness of the baby vertical duck.

Which strangely enough is the title of the forthcoming Tom Frilling triple LP box set...

But where is the cute little baby horizontal duckling? Let me see!!

I predict that this will develop into a very long thread with much bubbling about the gills and spitting of feathers and shit.

i love all ducks. ducklings are cute too. It's tough, but i'm going for vertical on this occasion.

Right click on the "forbidden" image, select the URL from the "properties" bit, then paste it into your address bar. You will see the image on its own. When you hit the back key - voila, the image is now safely ensconced in the thread - tadaaa! <leggy dolly bird with a big feather and a sequinned swimsuit draws attention to results in a leggy dolly-bird fashion>

Both of the above are horizontal ducklings.

When I saw these pictures Nate had to remind me that I was an adult, I went into a bit of excitement overload :o

Vertical for eggs, horizontal for meat, I reckon.
Yup. The vertical ones aren't as noisy, but both are great for slug-eating duties. When I get poultry again I shall be getting a pair of uprights. Indian Runners in fact...the best for eggs.
