actually, looks like there's two tracks they did called 112bpm... both are wicked.

this is the only one available on youtube. it's not the one i was talking about...

there's two jive rhythm trax albums, and both are pretty awesome - basically each track is a stripped down cover version of a fairly well known dance track, for djs. the second one is available at beat electric, which is probably the best online source of the kind of music you're after too...

got this, infact heard it first on a norman jay jdj mix cd, wnnt around loads of shops asking for it only to get laughed at telling my its easly 150 fot he twelve, a year later got my self a mint 12" of ebay for £13!

they have it that this is the first hip-hop tune with a scatch sample in it, and if you look closely you can see that the scratch is cedited to the Wizzard, which used to be the name for jeff mills..........

    wiki.."
Starting in the early 1980s, Mills, using the name "The Wizard", was a recurring guest DJ on "The Electrifying Mojo" radio show on WJLB. He performed DJ tricks like beat juggling and scratching during his sets, some of which were pre-recorded.
Mills and former Parliament bass player 'Mad' Mike Banks were founding members of Detroit techno collective Underground Resistance (UR), which embraced revolutionary rhetoric and only appeared in public dressed in ski masks and black combat suits."

orinigianal 12s are worth a mint, but they were repressed a few years ago subracting from the value slighty
