the only time i have every seen that style of dubbing is as a joke in a show where a dog sings the ending theme and a woman translates
in uzbekistan, all the actor's voices are dubbed by the same man43mhz said:Here in Italy, everything foreign is dubbed into Italian.. often by the same people.. it's an industry in itself.. but it's awful to watch films you know, butchered in this way.. subtitles all the way for me![]()

)Agreed... It's easier to translate than to dub, so why bother, at least leave some of the original intactShippou-Chan said:nooo it's NEVER done better than the original *sob sob*
also even if the film is very artistic i find subtitles are less of a distraction than a ill fitting audio ... and the voice is allways ill fitting
and in the occations when atitude and voice match then the translation is horible!
argggh it reminds me of some o f the anime i have where the subtitles are what they say in the dub... io sit there screaming THEY ARN'T SAYING THAAAAT!!!!
and fer fuck sake... they cange the guy saying "sensei" to saying "ms kazumi" ... what the fuck??? you can hear him say sensei!!! and who the fuck doesn't know what sensei means??? there are people in this world who don't know what language it is but still know what it means!!! ghhaaawerwerew
sorry.... rant over for now
