I just did a search on the music forum, not one fucking mention of the mighty 'Krumble' who seems to have revitalized/exploded d'n'b no end. He maybe french but fuckit , his stuff rules.

It's official, Urb75 knows jack shit

Hm... the clips available on juno sound like other breakcore stuff or derivative of what Panacea was doing on early Chrome releases.... 'sok I guess, but it ain't what I'm a-lookin' for anyway.

Edit: just listened to a few more, & he *does* seem to be more interesting than most d&b peeps these days... but he still doesn't sound as interesting as prime-time metalheadz etc, & is largely drawing on the same vocabulary on the tunes I like the sound of the most.

I'm sad about it, but d&b seems to be a dead duck musically as far as I'm concerned, which is a fucking shame 'cos it was the biggest music in my life for quite a few years... It just seems mired in complacency & self-reference at the moment, & I've not really heard any truly talented or original producers since oh, I dunno, '98? Oh, I'll make an exception for that AndyC tune with the shuffled beat tho'.. "body rock", that was pretty cool.

he seems to have gone off in a breakcore direction but his stuff on Jungle Therapy records is definitely worth checking , a truly individual d'n'b sound. I think he has a 'lighter'? more creative touch than Panacea.

that said his track on the latest 'Trash'n'Ready Tour' EP is outstanding. 'Usual Terror' it don't get more mentally metal maaaaaaaaaad.

Clownstep is shite.

i dont like the direction this thread has taken

i preferred the earlier stage of people comparing me to full cycle, this whole discussing other people's music is a bit boring now, can we get back to me please

ok ninj, that track is alright....i thought at first it was just gonne be that wobbly line all the way through, but i like the way it gradually changes and gets warped and more distorted. thought the drums could have done with some more work, was expecting a drop or a change in the percussion loop at about 40-50 seconds, needed some more oomph to go with the changing of the main synth line. the bassline could do with more kick as well :)

but it's a fuck sight better than what i could do :D

no it doesn't sound like teebee :)

thanks milesy :)

i put it up on dogsonacid and said 'hey i made a teebee track' and teebee actually turned up and said 'and you nicked my drums as well'

how cool is that

i like it, so since you like it as well im gonna make the drums cool as welll

and yeah it does need something else, i think i may have to stick a cheesy loop in
