Dr Feelgood: did they rock or what?

Oh bloody hell I missed it. Two weeks in chains listening to continuous gangsta rap for me then.

Is it available on DVD?

what a fantastic documentary , musically feelgood were excellent down to earth and powerful as hell , last nights program was filmed brilliantly i loved the childhood footage , wilco was always a hero he made me laugh , and his guitar playing was raw and earthy , top marks to the producers

Oil City Confidential: Dr Feelgood

Wilko looks a fucked. I not seen him three or four years.
When was this filmed ?

Forgot to say I didn't know Dr Feelgood was that bigger band :o

Views on wilko johnson band ?

Immediately pre-punk they were very big, at least in the UK. They'd moved up out of the clubs into the big theatres by about 1975. Then Wilco quit and they fizzled just about the same time punk started happening (from what I recall)

crackin film - makes me accept not all southern bands were poncey ;)

That prog outfit Pilgrims Progress were :o:o

Really enjoyed that, very well made and painted a great portrait of the band. I liked wilkos mad stare when he was performing. Does he still play these days, anyone seen him recently ?
