hmm .. one o f my collegues voted BNP in the Londnon election .. cos his whole family did .. they are not very political but go with the 'all the rest of the politicians are crooks' so we'll vote BNP .. this time he will not vote for any of them as another colleague ( ex NF activist ) has convinced him ALL politicians inc fascists are crooks ..

moral that attacking the BNPs 'we are not crooks' is useful .. attacking them as being 'nazis' did not work

Can we put this issue to bed now then and agree that it can have it's effect, more so in the past, but it's not sufficient in the here and now?

'BNP fascist crooks' has a better ring to it. I can see how people would find it suspect hearing that it's leader sticks £5k in his back pocket and uses young members to build extensions to his cottage in Wales. Champagne is drunk in the jacuzzi you know.
