Was it either 606 or Red Cafe? I've seen a thread at one of them - more likely the latter - about how 'Man U' is verbotten. Can't remember why now - maybe something to do with Munich.
That's stupidly self-defeating. It's basically handing other fans a stick to beat them with. Most people would have no idea that it was considered insulting -- I certainly did not -- but this publicises that other fans should use it at every opportunity as it is a good way to wind up the hardcore.
'Man U' doesn't bother me in the slightest - but it's when people call them 'United' that slightly urks me. Which United? Newcastle? Rotherham? Etc.
