Not Coventry then?
Under plans for the Trump rally, cheerleaders from America’s National Football League would perform.

Yep. If the state want to allow an orange draft dodger to be the focal point of an event supposed to remember the dead then I think its fair enough. Snot me playing politics with the glorious dead.to what, go and protest at a rally for the relatives of fallen British heroes, fatherless mites to the fore, all wrapped in flags?

are you suggesting that the right wing press will demonise a protest? Surely not? That would be silly talk, they've always been 100% behind protests.betcha the Mail, Express & Sun say it is, and their voice is louder than yours. and Fox, beitbart etc on the other side of the pond. and all the alt-right bloggers with followers. curiously enough the Telegraph was giving advance publicity to the pretty spontaneous Muslim ban protests a week or two back. But this is different, the furore, the huge petition, the speaker refusing to allow an address to parliament was all pointing towards a somewhat humiliating rejection. This rally, if held, has the potential to reverse that, to isolate protestors as unpatriotic remoaners and to knit together various strands of public opinion which (on this side of the Atlantic) are not necessarily fully within the rightwing orbit already.are you suggesting that the right wing press will demonise a protest? So the fruits of that petition happened yesterday: 3 hours of MPs self importantly holding forth on what they think about Trump. Probably quite fun for them. Great.
