Boys of Summer is excellent. It talks to me man. It's perfec - a song about the 80s, looking back with a sense of loss at the 60s - and it IS actually the ultimate 80s song in terms of production etc - sooo Miami Vice. It's like one zeitgest crying out for another. For me it's on a par with The Beatles "She's leaving home" in terms of teariness, goose-bumps etc - even though I'm about 20 years too young for "a dead-head sticker on a cadillac" to mean anything to me.
I liked it so much that I somehow aquired the whole album and didn't like that at all.
The Video had that... errr... Lysette someone or other in it. I think. She was in Auf Weidersein Pet. I may just be making that bit up of course.
