don't buy shirts, or anything in linen.

I have linen, that doesn't get ironed either :D We have an iron somewhere. Can't remember where I put it when I cleared the kitchen(for re-fitting) in January.

I ironed a particular shirt once. Went out in it, and a shitload of wrinkles seemed to just appear from nowhere. WORSE than before I'd ironed it. The iron must have been ironic

extreme ironing's where it's at

I invented extreme ironing before I realised that it actually existed!

Me and a group of BMXers were scoffing at the wave of extreme sports, and parodied it by inventing new ones such as extreme tea and biscuits, extreme scrabble, extreme stamp-collecting, extreme trainspotting, and my invention extreme ironing. Lo and behold, extreme ironing came on channel 4 the very next week

I do own an iron (but no ironing board which my mother cannot comprehend :D )and very occasionally I will have to hunt it down and use it.

But only very occasionally. Very very occasionally in fact. Life is too short to spend time ironing.

I only iron when necessary. :)

I do iron curtains though on the odd occasion they get washed as the creases dont fall out when hung back on the curtain rail.

Yup. Iron my shirts and t-shirts, and my jeans if i'm going out.

There's a set of clothes I never iron, because they never get worn further than it takes to walk the dogs or put the bins out.

I iron everything including underwear/pjs, bedding and towels - unironed material feels horrible to the touch to me. Fabric conditioner helps but, without being ironed, clothes feel like cardboard IMO. And they just don't hang right or follow your body's contours etc.

I has an expensive steam generator iron (something like £150) that gets hot as fuck and gets through a pair of previously stiff jeans within about twenty seconds.

Urgh, bunch of non-ironing wrong uns.

I iron a shirt every day in the morning before work but when I'm really stressed about something I will iron everything I have including sheets, underwear, tea towels, etc for an hour or two.

I find ironing to be quite therapeutic and it allows my mind to switch off. I like the smell of fresh ironing and also love getting into bed with freshly ironed and laundered sheets.

word

i iron everyday.

I normally wash and dry stuff and then put it away unironed, then give it a iron before i wear it.

I iron pretty much nothing.

Everything gets hung up to dry flat, and if something looks especially crumpled after that I hang it up in the bathroom whilst having a shower.

Very, very occasionally I might iron a shirt if I want to look particularly smart, but that's once in a blue moon. I can't even remember the last time I used my iron.

I iron my tshirts if I'm wearing them to work, and a couple of tops I have have to be ironed and of course my linen too, freshly ironed linen trousers :o

but it's all done as its needed - my drawers are too full to put them in ironed, I'd only have to do it again anyway

I only iron shirts. If something does need to be relativley crease free I hang it on the line for an hour or two.
