They are GORGEOUS
They do look good. I'm often jealous/irritated that women get a wider choice of docs then men - not this pair specifically, but generally.
I'd love a pair of the "patent leather" 1460s or 1461s for example, but they only do them up to size 9, as they are a "women's style" and I'm a 10.
1) it makes no sense that they are a 'women's' style
2) I know women with feet larger than a size 9
The world's gorn maaaad.
These are genuine "For Lifes" . I doubt the guarantee will transfer, but if you have the details the seller used to register the guarantee, I guess you'd get away with it.

I keep saying I've not had docs for years but I'm lying. I've got a pair of these in black that I've never worn because I know they'll fucking kill but I don't want to get rid of them because they're so pretty.
And I think I've still got a pair of battered red mary janes too... I know I got rid of one pair of red mary janes (which I shouldn't have done, they were still in good nick)... maybe they're not docs though, I'd have to check.
They weigh an absolute ton.
Break 'em in after a few weeks wearing ankle weights.
I agree, I had a black pair I passed to a charity shop for the same reason.
How bad can they be?
Of course you might lose the 30 quid. Or every penny in your account. I'd love for somebody to risk it. But not me.
The new ones don't.
I'm not either.....just wondered.
I wish I could like these twice.
Yeah but I've got the old ones
I like the weight. It's reassuring.
What do I polish oxbloods with?
. (Moose beat me to it)
The softer leather (Carpathians) 1460's do that a bit too. Around the laces the leather takes a bit of a dent. Doesn't make much difference with mine as they're black so it doesn't show up, but I wouldn't buy them in oxblood/cherry red as they'd look a right mess.
Not sure how long they'll last compared to a tougher pair either.
Other than that I've been pleased with the first brand new pair I've ever bought. With a bit of Wonder Balsam on them they look really smart. I've got away with wearing them to work on dress down Friday. 1460's, decent jeans, decent shirt, proper coat - looks smart enough. No one's said owt anyway.
I'm not really a flip flops or sandal person but I needed something for a forthcoming holiday. 15 quid on eBay inc postage. Well happy.
