One pair missing....an old navy pair...and the vonda boots are not here yet. I suspect
It'll take me longer to put them all away than it took to take 'em out.
    :)

argh. i had some dms ages ago but they fell apart after a while, so i've just bought some proper made in england ones. i was thrilled they did my size 6.5 but now i'm struggling to work out if they're too big and if i should have gone with a 6. so hard to tell without being able to try them on and compare.

If they're made in England, they'll be smaller than the Asian ones, so should be fine.

I've realised that I can't do an exchange, I have to do a return and a new order, so I think I'm going to order the 6 and then I can compare and return one pair.

    Vonda arrived...:)

I'm delighted on the one hand, as the leather is soft and very pliable.
And there's a zip so that'll make life that bit easier.
However, I miss the tough leather of an old style DM boot and I feel like I'm cheating by having a zip closure.

Overall though, I'm happy with the boots. They are super comfortable and fit like a glove....and maybe it's ok to not have blisters and the pain of breaking them in......:D

I must admit that not having 5 blisters to contend with when I get a new pair of Chelsea boots helps me get over the fact they are now made in China.

$_3 (1).JPG Not sure. The leather looks softer in some of the other pictures. Brown, apperently, although they look fairly black to me in the photo.

They're 1460s in brown waxy leather, that have either been dubbined to death or polished with black. They're usually pretty soft. Are they made in England? They look narrow.

Edit: Just checked 'em out - I wouldn't bother, the soles are buggered and about to split.
