I don't think anyone believes that's going to happen moose.
I'd love a look in your DM cupboard moose
That would necessitate a tidy up. Next time I get 'em all out, I'll take a pic.
Shows your age a bit those do.
I was a bit surprised they've just done these - maybe there's a B&B film coming out or something.
Yeah, I thought they were a bit naff. Not sure who's going to buy them. I expect they'll hit the Clearance list pretty quick.
just got a new set of 1460's
bring on the PAIN!!!!
*shakes fist at the sky*
trying to break them in on paddy's day might in hidesight of been a bad idea...
Fuck me. I'd forgotten how Made In England's KILL.
Been wearing a pair of shiny new 10 hole for 2 days, and the backs of my ankles aren't in a good way. On the other hand, they will fit beautifully when they're worn in. Lovely and narrow compared to the Asian ones.
I am so envious. Not of your pain, but your 1490 MILs.
Got 'em off eBay, unworn, one slight mark on the ankle that's polished out. £90! The different between these and the others is massive.
seen this fellow devotees of Docs? Get your boots personalised at the new Camden shop. Can't make it myself.....
Succumbed...I was going to wait til next year but asos had a deal and I was buying for three people... I got the benefit of €50 off and my lovely family decided that I could have the full benefit of it...
Ok..... so.... it'll be bread and cheese and porridge for a couple of weeks but it'll be worth it.
Comfort....long lasting.....and 6cm off the ground...lol...every bit counts when you're short.
Just had a look on ebay as I'm after a pair of 14 hole in cherry red but looks like they've stopped making them. Spotted a pair of 20 hole in bright orange, they wanted £500 for them.
Must sell a few of mine....
I have been known to get £180 upwards for some of my old boots, but that seems a tad excessive!
What size are you? I'll look out for some in my er... frequent searches.
I've got a new pair of Mary Janes that are shredding my heels.
Blister plasters are your friend. They're not like regular plasters for cut fingers or whatever, transparent plasticand have a squidgy solid but not hard gel bit in the middle that cushions the back of your heel. You can get more expensive Scholl ones, but the supermarket ones are okay, or stock up if you can find them in a pound shop.

I got a new pair of zebra print from eBay recently that puts me up to six pairs - including the standard black chelseas.
The OH is worrying about the amount. But bearing in mind the most I've paid for my specials has been £65. And most have been under £35. I figure I'm doing well.
My OH thinks of mine as his pension
Size 10 ta.
Oh god, whilst looking for some for you, I accidentally some myself
Made In England Pebble for £84 instead of £225
That's great value...lucky you...
I am already planning my second purchase.
ETA: Planning phase complete. (((My bank balance)))
I need to bring my work polish home tomorrow for my Chelsea boots. They need some love.
Nothing like the foot shape of ANY DM I've ever worn...even sandals from 15 years ago.
They cut off the circulation to my toes after 20 minutes
(Although I may be cursed with high arches.....ahem...lol)
They're going back...
Very pleased, just what I was after.
This is my first experience of wearing a pair in. These ones are fairly new so are going to need a bit of walking about before they're right. Not hugely comfy just now it's gotta be said but they'll be the right shape for me feet once done. And these aren't even Made In England's. Leather's very tough atm. (Resisted urge to say 'as old boots.')
A bit of googling seems to point to mine being 8 Eyelet Rub-Offs in either Cherry Red/Black or Burgundy/Black. Not sure if there's any difference and the bloke selling them didn't seem to know, either. 75 quid is a lot for a pair of boots but I really like them. Was lovingly treating them with Wonder Balsam last night in the manner one might stroke a cat.
They look really nice just now, similar to this:
but I get the feeling they'll end up like this one day:
which isn't my thing really.
Anyhow, they're deffo my fave boots right now. Very pleased.
They look lovely Voley.
I need another pair, been wearing cherry red for the last five years (two pairs), didn't even realise that there were different types now (outside of some vague feeling that I didn't need to break anything in any more).
Thread's been a bit of an education.
Of course now I don't know what to buy for the next pair.
