Once got to wear a head set for a radio a night vision monucular and a laser sight on my rifle . my exclamation "cool i look like a borg " was met by a face palm by my commander .

I hope you told him that resistance was futile, and that even if he face-palmed, he'd still be assimilated.

As I tend to have my earphones in on my iPhone, i have really warmed to not having anything pressed up against my ear esp for long calls.

There is a real sense of freedom and no sweaty ear. People think I'm nuts because they think I'm listening to an iPod and talking to myself, but I can deal with that.
