No, 'cos I don't have nets any more. I did in my flat in Hull, though.

The first time I washed them was after I'd been there about a year. Lacking a washing machine, I washed them in the bath with soap powder. They turned the water a nasty grey, so I resolved to wash them more often in future!

I need nets really but I use voile panels or blinds. I should pull me finger out and get all the window dressings sorted in our abode. I washed the kitchen blind last week though. It's come up lovely and white. Quick soak in the bath and then out to the line. The wooden baton didn't even have time to warp.

I washed mine* the other week. It was a revelation.

*they're not actually nets, but some toile whatever from Ikea, so it's okay. And I only have them in the bedrooms to spare the prisoners.
