Well, you clearly were a bit 'wong' the first time around because you failed miserably to persuade enough people to vote for it.

:)

Aye true hehe.

Being serious for a moment, a rare moment, festivals and hedge parties (RIP) is the some of the core of what made Urban. Like last year, when tp and I were bored at Glastonbury, we went to the cider bus and met you lot! I caught up with crusty chick, felix, yourself, william, bee's etc. There's no denying that there is a lull on the boards during a festival. IF you lot weren't there we'd have been bored off our tits that Wednesday night. moose's other half sorted us out etc.

Dub god bless him.. got me tickets to so many festivals last year that I couldn't even go! You don't get that on any other forum. I'd have been at endoreset thanks to a poster on here if it wasn't for people in my family having strokes. As much as I slag off urban and have fallings out with you and others, it's good we can, cos it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. IYSWIM.

Er, except far more people voted for it.

And your logic if flawed anyway.

If people didn't like the forum, they'd still vote against it, regardless of which forum the poll was was placed in. As the results prove.

Tosh.

Seems like a good idea, if you really want to keep festie related threads from sinking below the first page.

Saying that, it makes it somewhat less likely that newcomers will spot threads about Glasto meet ups etc.

Did my boxers just cough?

Yes, not just the forum, but all talk of festivals, especially tiny hippy ones

tiny hippy ones are the bestest though!

apart from the music and the people and the smell

You know what Orang? Even ;) in West Yorkshire, where I've just spent the weekend, most folks know the difference between plain honest blunt outspokenness, and gratuitous sneering/out and out bigotted rudeness.

Not bothered really but I would leave it be Ed.

Festivals are such a discussed topic though and there are so many dedicated forums to support this. Music is obviously a big part of the festival but is not specific to one of the many festivals.

Your kindhearted and generous spirited comment is duly noted, thank you ....

I smell of garlic and have been said to be a hippy :(

And Orang's posts last Friday were equally kindhearted and generous spirited yes? Or perhaps you just found them 'amusing' ...

You've done this before ;) -- ignore what goes before, only see the reaction ...

Takes two to tango -- always.
