Those were the Vancouverites with a penchant to travel to China.
Not always, at that school they were 'Proper' Teachers earning big bucks and a lot of them had no penchant to do anything other than pay off their student loans quickly.

Yes, I use "awesome" quite a lot.
For me, it can be used for "nice one", "clever you", "truly breath-taking", "inspirational", ......
Back in my day, we said "groovy" - now it's "awesome".

However, I do say super. I know it's wrong, partly because no sane person has said it for 20 years but I can't help it. It's just spills out of my mouth like dribble.

No, I don't use it myself as I am a bit of an oldie and it's something that has only been in common use in the UK in more recent years.
My niece, who lives in NZ and was previously in Australia uses the word and I had to explain to my sister, who has lived for years in Germany, what it meant as she had never heard it before

Barney raises the odd smile, but the others, apart from Marshal (Segel) are all dull, one-dimensional fuckwads.
they were qualified teachers, and could save an absolute bomb with the money they were earning in China. More than they could in Canada in real terms, and that means a considerable amount more when you take Chinese living costs and a free house into the equation
