Do you still watch Friends on E4?

Friends is the type of series I never sat down to watch, but I didn't mind it running in the background while I was doing other stuff. Like a lot of US sitcoms it benefited from the approach of having been written an re-written by a team till the jokes worked. These things are gag machines and as such they are efficient if not inspired.

Friends was really just a slightly softer version of Seinfeld, with a group of friends mostly acting quite selfishly, though in this one they did hug and learn. I never cared much for the characters, but I still quite like Lisa Kudrow, who apart from having a genuinely offbeat comic style has also given a few very good serious performances in indie movies.

My favourite Friends line wasn't in Friends though, it was in Futurama:

I watch it occasionally, even though I can quote some whole episodes verbatim. It would probably be my specialised subject on Mastermind
