Do you nap?

I have to have a late afternoon nap. Used to be 30-45 mins but now more like 60-90 mins

If I don't have a nap I fall asleep anyway even in the middle of saying a sentance.

I take the view that when you're asleep, the world isn't bothering you.

Cats sleep most of the time and their instincts on such matters are good.
The world doesn't bother me much when I'm awake though.
It only bothers me when I'm trying to sleep

Thank you.

I'm squids in now
:D

I nap when I'm not working. When I still had a cat the cat would join me on the sofa. There aren't many things more comforting than napping with a purring cat.

I miss my cat. :(

Ooh ooh!! That's me too. When people ask "are you or morning or evening person?" I have to reply "What the fuck has it got to do with you?" & then I remember my manners & say "both, it's lunchtimes I can't manage". Always been an early riser but could cheerfully stay up til 2 every night. My afternoon energy slump is appalling - I have to fight to stay awake at my keyboard sometimes.

That's me; give me two hours in the afternoon to lie down with a book and I'm happy. I read about four lines of the book, fall asleep, wake myself up by dropping the book on my face, put book down and sleep. Need to eat at inconvenient times when I don't nap too.

aww.:(

cats are great to nap with

even offspring or nephews/nieces can be good too

i try to get a 12.5. minute power nap in a very tiny staff room at work - Muslims pray in the corner - I nap in the gap between coffee table and chair.

I put it down to my back condition and seem to get away with it - set my alarm for 15 mins and forget the world for a while.:)

Yes, if I get the chance. Can't beat an afternoon nap, bout an hour - dead refreshing. I normally hit a slump at about 2 or 3, and can't nap in work obviously, but at home, I'll get ont couch and snore :)
