There's so many different styles out there that its hard to answer yes or know.
Some of it I think is inspired, while a lot of it is complete rubbish.
I don't really know where to begin with a lot of it too, but one thing I know I like (and maybe someone out there can help me out here) .. is that 1960s stuff by John Coltrane. Sleighbells and harps all over it... very mellow
What style would that be, and what releases contain those tracks? I do have some other JC stuff but it's earlier mad squiggly sax stuff that I'm not so keen on and hardly ever play.

i think that's stretching a point. plus, it's a soundtrack, isn't it, so it's bound to be a bit looser and jazzier than an album proper
