Bazza - points taken - but my 'ammo' was based toward mattkidd12, who I suspect probably was a Man Utd fan 2/3 years ago.

I suspect he only made it past age ten 2/3 years ago

I'd be interested to know, is it only Chelsea fans who do this at White Hart Lane?

Yes unfortunately...

Spurs verses Chelsea two years ago at WHL station:

In a carriage of Chelsea all pretty loud singing etc, fine. Load of blokes in their 40's/50's with young lads (maybe son's/nephew's etc). As soon as the doors are open a bottle is lobbed and the shout goes up for "Chelsea to fucking `av the fucking Jews" and to "do the fucking the Yids"..This pretty much set the tone for the afternoon.

There are always a few wallies among the travelling support who might shout and scream some anti-semetic abuse but it is largely the stuff of lone pricks. Unlike Chelsea who are the only fans who i can remeber doing it in unison and for a sustained period.

Not even Arsenal or West Ham stoop to those levels.

I suppose i shouldn`t tar all with the same brush but its hard not to when the majority act in this way

On the other hand they got an absolute steal on what they paid us for Frank Lampard. Of course, that was pre abramovic.

you reckon 11 million wasn't a bad deal, especilly as he was unlikely to want to play another game for us after booting out his dad and uncle.

Eleven million was plenty at the time. I can't think of another player who's improved as much as Lampard, he wasn't even close at the time he was at West Ham. I think you got a good deal.

I don’t like the creation; it’s a corporation cast in the image of an owner suffering from the consequences of an unfortunate childhood – it’s looking increasingly like Frankenstein FC.

The values are not sporting, but capitalist; the idea isn’t to beat the opposition on, at least, a relatively even playing field, but to undermine, outmanoeuvre, make irrelevant. And if this manager or these players can’t do the job, then lets get a fresh lot in for ½ billion.

These are the values Frankenstein’s monster seeks to pass on to the kids – they have nothing to do with fairness, competition and sport, and everything to do with a man desperate to (over) compensate. Winning isn’t about competing as best as your means allows, winning at any price is a cost in feeding a fucked up personality.

In the old days short men with complexes like this were sent to Elba, and not in the Champions League.

Spot on.

Do you remember Ken Bates's blatent attempt to divert attention away from chavskis nastiness by accusing Spurs supporters of being Anti Semitic Racists when they chanted "Yid Army" and "Yiddo".

it would be brilliant if it wasnt so fucking sad

As a neutral and ordinary man in the street I think Chelsea have a lot of potential, they have a promising young manager and the rest of the Premiership is very weak. :o

When I was growing up Chelsea were always one of those teams that was (and still is) supported by poseurs. They were the nearly men of English football, with supporters that had a serious reputation for neo-Nazi thuggery (the Headhunters). Now they can afford to buy titles by the lorry load.

in comparrison to what and who? comparred to chavski the premierships not weak its just not as cash rich and therefore not able to buy unlimited players at uncapped cost... thats not a weakness its a problem for all clubs at some level compounded by chavskis new owner and his unchecked resources and win at any price mentality.

In comparrison to other world leagues name me one that would clearly beat the premiership in terms of overall quality throughout all the teams not just the top four Mr ordinary man in the street

Same here, round my area the chavski lot attracted and welcomed anyone with an inkling of interest in becoming a racist thug. On the whole they then revelled in the *headhunter reputation they perpetuated

*utter twats, typical "alright geezer" hard in a gang types

Yes, the win at any price mentality that other winner haven't displayed in the past. Others have simply not been bothered about the result and its been a pleasant suprise when they have found out that they have won the table.Get a fucking grip, if your team had a fucking backbone and one ounce of determination you might actually win something instead of being the nearest footballing equivalent to a plate of jelly.

Spain btw.

Again no knowledge of the Chelsea Independant Supporters club abd its battles with said headhunters and completely ignorant of the fact that Chelsea had the first black Premiership manager. Lazy stereotyping from a bone idle thinker.

So I presume you weren't one of the many scousers who were wetting themselves at the prospect of the Thai PM's millions coming your way?

I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't as most of them seem to have magically dissapeared off the planet.

He fucking LOVED the idea.

I voted for the first option, although 'hate' is probably too strong a word - they've always been a club I've not particularly liked much. When I went to Stamford Bridge I was struck by how ugly their fans were - I'm not joking, it was seriously more noticeable than anywhere else. I commented upon it at the time. This was four or five years ago now though so they might have more glamorous fans these days! :D

I thought that (about the ugly bit) when I went to Newcastle. It was really strange how the whole town felt like anyone attractive or even normal looking had moved far away.

Or a Chelsea season ticket holder

What I like about Chelsea is now loads of people moan about the greedy Pr£mi£rshit who didn't before, the people who support clubs who have been complicit in engineering a system that means the rich get richer and the poor end up loaning their fifth choice kids cos they can't afford to buy any of their own players, reducing the overall excitement and movement between divisions.

A system that as a poster (stavros I think) pointed out has come to such dull end that the battle for 4th means more than the championship itself and I love seeing United, Arsenal, Newcastle etc etc moaning about being priced out the equation. Ha, Ha, Ha...

Swallow yer own medicine and enjoy it.

Always have hated them, always will.

So Spurs have never beaten them in the Premiership. Typical meaningless Sky Sports statistic that pretends football began in 1992.

Chelsea have never had any kind of local community support. Just fans from bland dormitory towns all over Surrey and Berkshire.

The only reason they even exist is because Fulham turned their noses up at Stamford Bridge and someone was left with an empty ground to fill. All the proper clubs arrived in the 19th century, anyone later is a plastic try hard wannabe.

Ok. Spurs haven't beaten Chelsea for nearly 16 years. Is that a meaningless statistic?

That's not quite true, although I've often said that they probably have weaker roots than any other football club I can think of. There was always quite a lot of support across Wandsworth and Battersea in older times.

Come to think of it, when I was at at primary school in Pinner in the early Seventies practically all the kids followed Chelsea. They were probably going to Watford ten years later.

Hate em. Everything that's been said so far covers what I think of them.

Hate the Spuds more though ;)
