Absolutely so. first time I opened the buenos phone directory, i nearly died laughing, it was all jones, smith, williams, etc (fwiw, my sis-in-law is from BA oligarcicos stock. her surname is Reynolds). The brits - malvinas notwithstanding - are quite popular there.

And we might as well admit it - the temperamental, cheating, cynical little fuckers do - at their best - play some of the most wondrously skilful, exciting, creative and expressive football ever played. when the cut out the antics, they are always fantastic to watch.
