Do you have a regular monthly Magazine Subscription

Advanced Photoshop. Started the sub on a whim after seeing one pretty useful issue and now don't think it's quite what I was looking for. I wanted something more photography based, but this leans more toward graphic design.

I find a lot of the stuff in there and similar magazines is grossly misrepresented, I'd never trust anything sciencie that wasn't coming from a peer reviewed journal, and even with those I'm often dubious (cf. the retractions from Science and Nature in the past couple of years).

thanks, i'll bear that in mind when i read it in the future. it doesn't come across as that serious a science publication, more an entertaining read for us laymen who are just interested in the fun side of things.

I used to subscribe to Runners Worls and New Scientist.
Started working for a magazine publisher last year though, so thesedays sometimes buy Private Eye, otherwise I just pick up free copies in the office.

Used to subscribe to Skin Deep, but didn't bother renewing after I won a year's free sub to Total Tatoo, which is a far superior magazine in every way. But still didn't renew my sub to that when it ran out, as I was skint.

So nothing at the moment. Mr K's brother got us a year's sub to Private Eye for Christmas a couple of years back, but we never received a single one - he gave them the wrong house number and never bothered to put it right
