I love onions more than i love life itself... so much ill put them in any sandwich i eat, and then have EXTRA onions on the side to munch as a i go along....

At least their are 8 people there who now know that there are fellow onion haters around, and that they are not alone. And for that, I am glad.

And now we know where you live. Stay where you are, the assimilation team will be with you shortly.

i don't mind onions IN stuff, very very very finely chopped. But otherwise they're disgusting.

Admitting which tends to invite derision in a way that admitting you hate, say, aubergine doesn't, but what's the bloody difference?

This is it exactly, someone says ''oh i don't like mushrooms' and noone bats an eyelid, say you don't like onions and people go mental shocked and call you a fusspot.

It's RIDICULOUS.

Tell me about it:rolleyes: When staying anywhere I usualy end up taking my own stock cubes (for gravy), having to carry snack bars (because there will usually be entire meals I can't have unless I want a migraine) and having to explain once more that "yes, it's a nuisance but can you please check the ingredients on the jar to make sure that lovely lasagne etc is safe for me".

At one house I was accused of having trust issues because I asked what was in the soup - and (politely) rejected it when the answer was very vague.

In a house share, I was called antisocial because I never cooked or ate at the same time as the others (except breakfast) - well, seeing as even onion fumes can trigger a migraine, excuse me for not wanting to lose hours from each day for the sake of valuing your feelings above my health!

I'm happy to cook my own stuff or settle for a sandwich, all I ask is that it's safe to eat ie. onionfree.:)
