when they start to get slight hints of brown spots on the skin, that's when thy ae too ripe for me. they have to just finished turning from green to yellow. does anyone else find that they smell of nail varnish when they get really ripe? that grosses em out <bleurgh>
i can eat too ripe nanas if they are with loads of custard or something though. let it not be said that i am completely fussy, please.
