It came up on another thread, and somebody asked me to do a poll.Wine or water or both. What a boring question, why do you want to know?

I thought you said it was boring?I'm interested now.
I said I drink tea with fish and chips. Why did it crop up?
Everyone does. It's Correct.

It's a matter of Importance.and I said I don't....he got all upset and called me names![]()

Well I'm certainly pleased to read this, as I have a long standing arguement with my other half who insists on drinking a glass of white wine with fish & chips, whereas I will only countenance a mug of tea
On special occasions I've been known to have fish & chips and champagne though. That works.

I drink wine with every meal
even when i'm 'dry' i can't eat food without a glass of wine. it's just wrong
I don't drink now but when I did I could very rarely, unless I was out, drink wine with dinner - has to be water - unless it's pizza or something like that - then it has to be coke

Weirdos

Same here. Usually a cuppa tbh but not til after I've finished.I may or may not have a glass of water or fruit juice sitting by while eating my dinner. I don't usually drink from it until I am finished.

If I'm going out or sometimes at weekends I will have wine but I'm allowed that in a glass as long as I'm careful.![]()

Me too.I thought you said it was boring?
I said I drink tea with fish and chips.
Not even some kind of Japanese tea? They should do salmon and chips with wasabi mushy peas and soyu instead of salt. Now that sounds yummy.
But not with tea.
