Do you do HDR?

A friend of mine now shoots three frames of every scene, one on one below and one above. He then makes HDR images which I have to say do look as if they have had some treatment.

They look somehow a little unnatural.

I am sure for some landscapes HDR is ideal but I think perhaps not for all.

Anyhow, do you do HDR?

No. With most people, the photos end up looking like screenshots from video games. I agree with the statement that with good HDR, you don't even know it's there. The photo by Cybertect below the op qualifies, imo.
 
I see 'auto' HDR as one of the features we'll see in the future - 3 or so quick shots taken in succession automatically by the camera and 'blended' at the same time - the process transparent to the end user. Well in ‘green square’ mode anyways.
