not really, there are layers but it's a big pile of shite basically. It was in a style when it was cut but it grows fast and weird lol :D

Yeah, mine does that :D Don't mind having a go if you wanna trust me :D I'd leave it long enough to rescue if you don't like it!

edit: teeps just took a pic of mine so you can see if that sorta thing's alright, she'll post it later

i have cut my hair in the past with clippers, though i don't now. i've been banned from cutting it all off

My hair is very curly, it cant really be layered or styled in anyway so I just cut it straight across myself. So long as I dont cut one side an inch shorter than the other you cant tell.

I regularly give myself a number 3 with a pair of mains clippers I paid £16 for years ago.
I do the back of my neck with the aid of two shaving mirrors and a strip of elastic to define the edge.

lovin' the set-up

gg that hair cutting station is well cool

Thanks..

You have to take a bit of care of yourself at my age ;)

I still sometimes miss the white ear hairs though. :p

I still find doing things back to front difficult. I've wondered if you could do something with TV cameras ...

Having a physical guide you can feel (the aforementioned tee shirt neck elastic) makes things much easier though :)

Yeah, trying to deal with the reverse effect of mirrors is well difficult. Plus the back, that was really tricky.

I have only once cut my own hair and it was less trying to sort it out and more complete raging despair at the world I am going to lop it off and throw it around while screaming... :o

Anyway, I hate going to the hair dressers as they don't seem to listen to anything I say I want and do what they hell they like.
I went a couple of weeks ago and its OK but not what I asked for.
I sometimes don't go for years.
I have very dry wiry hair though so it looks like straw very quickly if not cut. :(

I cut mine to number 0 (i.e. no guard) with my brown professional wahls about every 6 weeks, freehand but finishing off in the mirror - I do look a wee but thuggish for a few days but it pisses my mum off so it's not all bad (oh and I think I look boss).
