I think my "spiritual" side is holistic. To use an analogy, the science bit says that when you go for a romantic meal with the other half, you're "really" eating lightly seared dead cow and drinking fermented grape juice etc etc, and can give an almost endless reductionist description of the these things, together with the make up of the tables/chairs you're sitting on/at, etc, while the "spiritual" bit is the actual (hopefully row-free and pleasurable) subjective experience arising from all those other bits and bobs, whereby I "really" had a nice dinner with me bird, like. Science = solve, spirituality = coagula. Speaking analogicalacalicacally anyway.
