Do you believe in ghosts??

I don't believe in ghosts. I have seen seen things that I can't explain, not ghosts because they don't exist but I expect some others may have regarded what I saw as ghosts.

So what were they then?
No idea, like a dark shape passing quickly out of site. I saw one quite a lot in a house we used to live in and I've seen something here in this home about 3 or 4 times in 10 years. Maybe it's just something about catching light in a certain way or something.

I believe a person's spirit doesn't leave straight away after death.

Had a couple of experiences of this. Not seen, but heard, beyond all reasonable doubt with other witnesses present

I've seen my grandad, a young girl, and I'm almost certain there was a poltergeist in our old garage, I used to see a lot of strange things when I was younger too, but I could put that to an over active imagination creating visuals out of mental images perhaps? But the other three has no other explanation other than being real ghosts.

If you've eliminated everything else from tricks of the light to being half asleep it's still a lot more likely that you had an out-and-out hallucination than that you saw something that doesn't exist.

We sensed more than heard the giant hairy pile of bollocks as it swept by.

I disagree, i would have said hallucination about the two ghosts, if it was in other circumstances, but I saw 2 ghosts, and you can't hallucinate real unexplainable things happening, so again, I say ghost.

I've seen and experienced a few very weird things , even in the company of others...so yes . Definitely believe in them .

I still laugh at my mum who's a confirmed atheist and just ridicules anything remotely connected to the supernatural . She was once scoffing at the very notion of ghosts when my dad reminded her of the time just after they'd married and they both had to flee a Dublin hotel in the middle of the night due to some very..very.. scary and disturbing activity .
" well..apart from that...there's no such thing as ghosts " .

You can hallucinate pretty much anything. It's probably not the only non-supernatural explanation in any case, just an extreme that is considerably more probable than the laws of physics being wrong.

Of course bloody not.
And I would shit myself to death if I ever saw one. So I'd like to keep not believing in them, thank you.

Because it wasn't just me that saw them happen, they actually happened. The effects of them happening were real.

'Did you just see that? i'm sure it was grandad'
'I er... well I saw something'
'It was grandad I'm telling you'
'Now that you mention it it did have a grandaddish feel about and I am a suggestible plonker, lets tell some people'.

I find it hilarious that some one can accuse me of talking b*****ks when I haven't even said what happened.

"NO, B******KS, NOT HAVING IT!!!"

"Not having what? I haven't told you what happened yet?"

"NO, B******KS, NOT HAVING IT!!!"

Lol
