Do people dress up to go to the West End?

Wagamamas is exactly the sort of place you rush in and grab a bowl of noodles before a show; no-one will care what you wear there. hope you enjoy it; my sister said it was ace.

I like it and I know my husband would like it. I've got the cookbook but you can't get most of the ingredients in Cornwall :D Or did you mean the show?

I feel strangely guilty :(
Not your fault. Just a great place from my past that I hadn't been to for a long time. :(

Anyway, there are some great clothes in the posts here, all of which will look right for your purpose (I might get some for Mrs D). So relax and have a good night out.

This is fab and will work in the winter too with boot cut or palazzo type black slouchy trousers
Would this work with jeans and high heeled boots? I was thinking that it would look good on Mrs D, and she loves the high heeled boots thing. Is this from simplybe?

I feel that I should explain that Mrs D is feeling a bit off about how she looks, and I want to cheer her up.

Yes it would completely work with jeans and high heeled boots or strappy high heeled sandals. Check how she feels about her upper arms being on show, though. Some ladies prefer to cover up their arms in which case this tunic might be good

or this, especially in black
Hmm, hadn't thought about the arms thing. Will look at the options. (She is a 34E, what does that translate to for a top?)

added: How did I get to spending sunday night talking about womens clothes?

...BTW 'my sister said it was ace 'refers to Ewan McG in Guys & Dolls, not Wagamamas. I like Wagamamas but I prefer sushi to noodles
I'm really excited. I just hope the tickets don't run out before my hotel vouchers arrive. It's selling out pretty fast.

34E isn't big, well it is in cup size but not rib cage measurement. I'm 42C ish and I'm a size 22 in most tops atm. Best way is to sneak a look inside a label of one of her tops.

I think we're going to get tickets for Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre and go to the Wagamama's in Soho first. Trouble is I've yet to eat in Wagamama and not come out with dinner all down my front (it's the bamboo spoons I tell you). I'd also feel a bit of a tit going into Wagamama all dressed up.

It's a dilemma and no mistake ;) What's a girl to wear for a night in the West End?
If you are coming to London you'd bloody well better stay here or else. :D

Go for a rice dish from wagamamas. They're much much easier to eat without spilling on you. If I'm going somewhere after eating there, I usually go for the chicken katsu curry.

Avoid the noodles in soup dishes at wagamamas... you eat the meat, and the noodles and are left with about a litre of stock!

My friend said "I told you not to order that" which really helped.

When you coming up madz, time out are doing two mains for the price of one at wagamamas at the moment...

(btw, I thought jeans and heels were out this season? or is it just heels with 3/4 length jeans?)

It's also worth signing up to Wagamama's membership thingy on their website. They have never-ending 2-4-1 deals at various restaurants around London... I eat lunch there pretty often for next to nothing! (incidentally looking like shit.. no need to dress up for Wags!)
